Lockheed Martin Space Systems has awarded a document management contract to ACAD-Plus to upgrade and vastly expand their TeamWork solution to Meridian. The solution will initially focus on the Operation Support-Facility Operations & Services (FO&S) group with possible expansions to additional groups coming later. FO&S wishes to initially focus on storing drawings and documents pertaining to projects and sustaining activities on buildings and the campus infrastructure. These drawings and documents are the highest priority because they provide significant benefits during the ongoing projects and maintenance in the facilities.

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, a major operating unit of Lockheed Martin Corporation, comprises two primary business units: Space Systems and Michoud Operations; and two joint ventures, United Space Alliance and United Launch Alliance.  Space Systems comprises several core lines of business with major facilities in Denver, Colo., Sunnyvale, Calif., and other locations.

Space Systems Company designs, develops, tests, manufactures and operates a full spectrum of advanced-technology systems for national security, civil and commercial customers. United Space Alliance, based in Houston, TX, a joint venture with The Boeing Company that manages the Space Shuttle program for NASA.
United Launch Alliance, based in Denver, CO., a joint venture formed by Lockheed Martin and The Boeing Company in 2006, to provide Atlas and Delta launch services for the U.S. Government, including the Department of Defense, NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Reconnaissance Office.
